Imagine that little red building that has been standing since 1894 and served as a schoolhouse, restaurant, and fire station before opening its doors as the library. Season after season, year after year, in summer sun and through winter’s rain and bitter cold, it has welcomed and provided to all.
—an ambitious yet essential multi-phase, five-year, two-million-dollar capital improvement initiative.
The goal is to ensure our beloved library stands at the heart of the community for another 100+ years. Phase one will begin with the replacement of the roof and windows throughout. Hopefully, state grants will pay a portion, with the rest up to us. And we are up for the challenge.
